See you at #20ENISE to talk Threat Hunting!
On October 22 at 10:00 AM, our colleague Borja Merino, Head of Defensive Security at Alpine Security, will lead a Threat Hunting workshop at #20ENISE, organized by INCIBE – Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute, in León, Spain.
Threat Hunting: Intelligence-Driven Detection of Advanced TTPs
This workshop explores how to apply detection engineering methodologies to identify behaviors associated with threat actors. Drawing on threat intelligence sources, the analysis of recent TTPs, and current attack scenarios based on real-world campaigns, we will examine how to translate threat intelligence into effective detection strategies.
The goal is to develop robust, behavior-based detections that make it harder for attackers to evade detection by modifying their tools, techniques, or procedures, ultimately strengthening the ability to identify malicious activity at an early stage.
Because attackers can change their tools, infrastructure, and indicators, but their behaviors are much harder to conceal.
This will be a great opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and our vision of how to make Threat Hunting more proactive and effective.
